The Philippines has a plethora of festivals celebrated for several reasons, either as an honor for the patron saints, as a ritual, or a yearly pledge. But most festivals are celebrated to give thanks to the mighty provider for giving them good health, abundance in their livelihood, or a bountiful harvest.

The Manila Hotel, through their famed Café Ilang-Ilang, brings these festivities within their elegant and historical walls with their special monthly menu highlighting some of the Philippines’ Best Festivals.

The special featured festival menu starts off with Laguna’s ANILAG FESTIVAL! ANILAG is a portmanteau (pronounced port-MAN-toe) or a word made by blending at least two words, ANI-LAG, where ANI means harvest and LAG means LAGUNA. This festival aims to celebrate Laguna’s bountiful harvest throughout the year and is the perfect timing to give thanks to the mighty provider.

The Manila Hotel will feature Calle Arco Restaurant‘s curated heirloom recipes which have been passed from one generation to another. Callo Arco Restaurant used to be an ancestral home, now it is a restaurant and the home of authentic Filipino dishes.

Catch this special and festive menu and all the other delectable dishes only at Café Ilang-Ilang of The Manila Hotel.
