BPI and BPI-Philam offer P200K free COVID-19 life insurance coverage to 1 million clients

Bank of the Philippine Islands (BPI), in partnership with BPI-Philam, recently launched a program featuring free life insurance coverage of Php200,000 to a select group of one million clients.

BPI-Philam remains determined to fulfill its critical mission of meeting the insurance needs of Filipinos and is one of the first in the country to offer a free COVID-19 insurance coverage.

The free COVID-19 Life Insurance Cover is offered to qualified BPI account holders with BPI-Philam individual or group insurance coverage, including clients who have active coverage under BPI’s Pamana deposit account, Pamana Padala remittance, and Save-up deposit account. Those qualified started receiving their free COVID-19 Life Insurance coverage last June and will go on until September.

“Many of our clients are facing formidable uncertainties brought about by these unprecedented times. They are understandably worried. By working together with BPI Philam, we hope to give our valued clients peace of mind by gifting them with free life insurance coverage should they be afflicted by the COVID-19 virus. It’s our way of showing care and appreciation for them, timed together with our 169th anniversary,” said BPI Sales and Service Channels (SSC) Head Angelie King.

The Free COVID-19 Life Insurance Coverage Program supports BPI’s thrust to be of service to its clients, making them feel valued and protected. To help ensure a high quality of service, BPI branches have BPI-Philam bancassurance executives available to assist client inquiries. Pre-qualified clients were contacted by their branch of account to help them facilitate this offer. Clients are also encouraged to get in touch with their BPI Business Managers and  Relationship Managers to take advantage of this offer.
