Mr. Francis Reyes, Chief of Operations of The Caravan Food Group, Inc., lead the inauguration and blessing of yet another Overdoughs branch, this time, located at the posh S’Maison at Conrad Manila.
This Overdoughs S’Maison branch is at Level 2 and is strategically located near the Director’s Club Cinemas, so it would be a perfect go-to movie snack that you can munch on while watching a movie or can be one of your after dinner desserts. Since a bridgeway also connects S’ Maison to the SMX Convention Center, it is one of the eat shops you can visit when you are at the SMX. This branch is different from other branches since this is now a stand-alone shop where some patrons can sit while waiting for their delicious Overdoughs. It is also good to know that they provide opportunities to persons with mental or physical disabilities by employing some of them as one of their staff members.
Now, the FOOD! They have 3 kinds: Loukomades, Beignets and Cookie Dough. Most probably, you only know about cookie dough and you are wondering what are Loukomades and Beignets?! And how do you pronounce them? Haha! Well, I did a little research for you, hopefully they are right.
Loukomades (pronounced as “loo-koo-MA-thess”)Â are Greek or Turkish versions of deep-fried doughnuts that are usually bathed with syrup, honey or cinnamon and topped with nuts or powdered sugar. Â You may choose from their different dips: Toffee, Dark Choco, Milk Choco, Matcha White, Honey Cinnamon and Nutella. We tried everything except the dark choco and I must say that that Milk Choco and Toffee dips are delicious!
Beignets (pronounced as ben-yey) are french pastries that are made from deep-fried choux pastry. Overdoughs is now offering bigger and better beignets so you better grab them now. You may choose to buy a dip also for your beignets.
No need to for introduction for the Cookie Dough as just from the sound of it, you  are bound to order it at once. Overdoughs is offering Choco Chip, Oreo Smores or a combination of both.
Overdoughs is also offering coffee to go with your doughnuts: Americano, Latte and Mocha which can be ordered either hot or iced. Â I heard they are from one of the famous coffee shops here in the Philippines by the name of Toby’s Estates. (So I’m sure that these coffee also tastes good.)
Again…
Sweet tooths should rejoice because Overdoughs is giving us new options for our snacks and desserts, so why don’t you give it try? I ‘dough’ believe that you will find yourself a new favorite and certainly will get a sweet ‘overdose’ of these Overdough’s treats.
