Curb your cravings with the fresh offerings of Salmon HQ

How do you feel about this story?

Sashimi or sushi? What is the difference? Sashimi is a thinly sliced piece of raw meat, typically fish that is served without rice while Sushi is the same, only that the piece of meat, cooked or raw and is placed over rice.
Having to live in Japan for a year, I have grown fond of eating fresh salmon sashimi. Mind you, I have tried raw beef, horse, whale, squid, tuna and others but salmon has been my favorite choice of meat for sashimi. And I have always been on the lookout for fresh salmon sashimi every time I eat in a Japanese restaurant, as long as the budget allows.
There are times when the salmon sashimi cravings creep up even when I am in the house so I need a reliable, affordable, and quality source of salmon sashimi. Lucky enough, I saw Salmon HQ in Facebook and was eager to try them.
I was attracted to the variety of mrnu they offer.  They have sashimi, sushi, inari, gunkan,  baked sushi and more!


Fresh salmon sashimi outside and inside are layers of premium kani kama mixed with ebiko, premium spicy salmon and chuka wakame mixed with japanese sushi rice.
If you want to have an extraordinary cake, then this is for you. You do not only have fresh salmon sashimi for days but also a cake base that is truly filling.
I love the flavorful taste of the combination of kani (crab sticks) and chuka wakame (seaweeds). It was my first time to have this combination and I loved it!

Tofu pockets are one of my.faves and then stuffed with different yummy toppings, this dish is a complete meal on it’s own.
Well, hello to the fresh flavors kani salad and this was a different and unique way to serve it. I loved the heat that came from the spicy tuna and spicy salmon but what’s most incredible is the ikura (fish eggs) and uni (sea urchin) which litetally has the bursting fresh flavors of the sea, so fresh and yummy!

I would describe this as party on a platter. With so many choices handed down to yku, you will definitely have a favorite here.
Aside from my obvious favorites, I am particularly intrigued and amazed by the flavors of the Philly Gunkan because of the rich and slightly sour  Philly filling  that complements well with the fresh salmon sashimi.


      𝐂𝐫𝐮𝐧𝐜𝐡𝐲 𝐂𝐚𝐥𝐢 – seasoned rice, cucumbers, mango, ebiko, Premium kani, crunch & 3 kinds of sauces.
    𝐔𝐧𝐢 𝐒𝐜𝐚𝐥𝐥𝐨𝐩 𝐞𝐛𝐢 𝐀𝐛𝐮𝐫𝐢 – scallops, salmon, ebi, kani, secret sauce, seasoned rice, crunch and ebiko.
I had the best of both sushi bake world with this halfand-half sushi bake.
This sushi bake was generous with its serving of ingredients and you get a mouthful in every scoop. This reminds me of why I love sushi bake, it’s a filling dish anytime of the day.
