- Buddha-Bar Manila, one of the world’s trendiest and most stylish bar-lounge-restaurant in Makati City, which offers a selection of Pacific Rim cuisine dishes, invited bloggers to witness the lighting of their outdoor Christmas tree. The Christmas tree was in a shape of a pagoda which can be translated as blessed or to bring good fortune. You can’t miss it since it is a 6-tier tall pagoda structure with festive lights and a star above it along Kalayaan Avenue just beside the Century Mall.
The Festivities wouldn’t begin without some of the best of Buddha-Bar’s refreshments, maki, appetizers and delectable desserts.
Buddha Bar is a three-story structure that houses different lounges and VIP rooms, a resturant, an al fresco seating space and a terrace and we’re excited to take a tour of the place.
As we were invited inside Buddha-Bar our eyes should be able to adjust because of the dim romantic lighting but went directly to the amber-lighted staircase which leads to their second floor. The second floor is a balcony that overlooks the first floor. Their third floor is the more of the Al Fresco feel and has a great view of Makati. For those whose great enemy is the stairs, don’t worry, they have equally beautiful elevators to bring you to the other floors but I suggest you take the much more scenic route, which is their beautifully lighted stairs.
You will notice the amber-colored lighting with lush reds and gold luxurious fabrics that is the main theme for Buddha-Bar.
There’s also a bar where you can try their different drinking concoctions as well as a DJ’s area where an eclectic mix of world, lounge and energy music best embodied by the rightfully famous “Buddha-Bar” compilations can be heard.
As you turn around, you will see where the giant Buddha structure – the bar’s namesake, sits serenely enthroned.
As if Buddha is watching over the entire place.
With it’s spacious three-storey structure, Buddha-Bar is also suited for every party or event, as it has different areas and facilities that could caterfor a sit-down gathering or just simple gathering with close friends and families, corporate launches, birthday parties, lunch meetings, and more.
Not to mention, they have ongoing which really entices me to come back.
