The latest season of The Mandalorian has just concluded and it was another incredible end to an exciting and wild adventure for bounty hunter Din Djarin and the adorable Grogu.
The thrilling finale to an exciting season
It was a season filled with dangerous adventures for Din Djarin and Grogu. From returning to planet Mandalore to enter the Living Waters so Djarin can restore his status as a Mandalorian, and discovering a Separatist faction in Plazir-15.
The season finally culminated in another big confrontation between Din Djarin, his allies and Moff Gideon in Chapter 24.
After watching the remnants of the Empire build themselves up once more right under the nose of the New Republic throughout the entire season, we finally discover Gideon’s nefarious plan of making force-sensitive clones of himself at a secret base in Mandalore.
Following the discovery of the secret base, they confront Gideon’s forces and begin a huge battle with Bo-Katan leading the charge and facing Moff Gideon in an intense duel where the latter breaks the Darksaber. However, Grogu and Djarin help Bo-Katan fend off Gideon, who seemingly perishes in the flames after Axe Woves charges a cruiser at the base.
In the end, Grogu officially becomes Djarin’s adopted son after a ceremony and Bo-Katan re-opens the Great Forge of Mandalore. The final shot shows Djarin and Grogu at peace, a fitting end after a season filled with perilous danger and adventure.
