I love UCC and they have been in the Philippines for quite some time serving sumptuous Japanese dishes paired with their great tasting coffee. And now, UCC is joining the third wave coffee scene by launching UCC Clockwork. They boast here their in-house roasting machines with a variety of local and international single origin coffee.

And now, they are launching new offerings of healthy eats using Quorn ready-to-eat delicious meat-free products.

We tried their All Day breakfast meals and ordered coffee for a more wonderful and guilt-free breakfast.

Vegetarian Sausage Breakfast

I find the meat a little dry but the taste is very close to a real sausage. Nothing that can be cured if you eat it with the side salad or the fried egg with this breakfast.

Vegetarian Hamburg Omelet

I liked this dish and the patty was cooked perfectly, you wouldn’t even notice that it was meatless. The burger patty was moist and very flavorful and is paired with a hearthy vegetable omelet. Loved how the marinara sauce tied the dish together!

Iced Mocha

I always love some chocolate in my coffee and an iced one also! 🙂 The coffee was a little bitter but once you mixed the chocolate with it, the drink was really worth ordering.

Cafe Latte

The coffee was just the right aroma and flavor to keep you energized throughout the day aside from the wonderful coffee art that makes it too pretty to drink.

(A)MBIENCE:

Love the homey vibe brought by the mix of wood and marble interiors and the brown couch that is just too inviting. The place seemed very conducive for those who want to escape the noisy atmosphere of some of the other popular coffee shops.

I also love that they have a mini bar where you can sit when you feel like drinking some coffee alone. Look at the geometric tiles with the splash of glossy silver or gold-like patches and touches of brown that tie in together with the rest of the interiors.

They also have al fresco seating where you can take a view of the busy Kapitolyo Street.
