I love Italian food and there are just a number of restaurants that I can say that I would go for a second visit but that hasn’t hinder me from trying out new Italian restaurants. So, when I found this little restaurant in the SM Hypermarket, I had to try it at once.

(F)OOD:

SPINACH AND ARTICHOKE DIP

I love a cheesy number for my appetizer. I love the combination of spinach and artichoke in a dip and this is clearly a wonderful cheesy starter. It was served with bread and fried wonton chips that you can dip into this hot and cheesy concoction and is best eaten hot.

PASTA PUTTANESCA

Made of spaghetti noodles with red sauce and served with anchovies, tomatoes, olives, capers and garlic. I am not a fan of Italian sauce because of it’s sour taste but the capers and garlic made the whole difference in this pasta. It is only Php 220 for solo and Php 360 for family-size serving.

FELLINIS

Never tried angel hair pasta with pesto sauce. It had tidbits of shrimp and that made this a little tastier. Served Php 105 solo and Php 310 for family size servings.

BLEU CHEESE

Chicken and sun-dried tomatoes in a creamy and cheesy gorgonzola sauce. I am not really a fan of bleu cheese but Served Php 245 for solo and Php 385 for a family serving.

BISTECCA

I love this pasta dish! Tender beef tenderloin pieces topped over pasta with a pommery mustard sauce. It is one of their pasta mains and costs Php 320 that I think can serve two people.

BUFFALO WINGS

You may choose from Garlic Parmesan and Original flavors. Tender and flavorful chicken pieces that serve for Php for 6 pieces and Php 219 for 12 pieces.

One of the best pizzas I have tasted are those of the Dear Darla of a popular pizza chain and I am so happy that Pazzo Rollio serves them too. Choose one of those thin pizzas and they give you some arugula and alfalfa sprouts that you can roll inside these pizzas. The pizza can serve 2 to 3 persons and are less expensive than the known pizza chain.

Big Bang Supreme

Thin pizza cut into long strips and then topped with bacon, ham, pepperoni, caramelized onions and mushrooms. I think this is one of their bestsellers and definitely one of my fave pizzas from Pazzo Rollio.

Pazzo Special

Same thin pizza cut into long strips and then topped with bacon, ham, salami, crumbled meatballs, mushrooms and bell pepper. This definitely satisfies my meaty cravings.

Treat the gang out for a tasty and filling meal of Fellinis and Bleu Cheese pastas with a Big Bang Supreme rolled pizza for Php1,099!

You can also opt to Create Your Own Rolled Pizza (Php280 solo | Php480 family) by choosing your preferred toppings for your pizza from the long list of toppings that they have :   anchovies, bacon, barbecue sauce, basil, bell pepper, chicken, chili flakes, gorgonzola, ham, jalapeno, meatball,  mozarella, mushroom, parsley, pesto sauce, pineapple, prosciutto, olives, red onions, salami, sausage, shrimp, sundried tomatoes and truffle oil.

(A)MBIENCE:

The first thing that you would notice in this store is that despite the small space, they clearly used an ingenious way of creating more seats for the customers.

They have a sort of like a double-deck, loft or mezzanine-like space for a few more tables and seats. It is quite a very unique placement of tables and chairs, instagrammable, but I am quite concerned though that if there will be children or some rowdy customers seated upstairs, they might disturb those who are eating below because the flooring is not that thick and all stomps can be heard (or felt) at the  bottom part.

It is also a good thing that they placed some covers to some of the steps to keep away the nasty sight of people’s feet while climbing the stairs. I just can’t also imagine if someone spills their drink at the top part 🙂

(B)UTLER SERVICE:

The manager was there while we ate there. The food were mostly served by her and we did not have any problems with the food nor with the service.
